Blues 3 - Wild 1

Yes sir! Home game #3, hosting the Wild, solid outing. Victory on the back of Chris Mason's strong goaltending, David Perron's first goal of the season. Beautiful effort off of an odd man break, came in from the right wing, beat the goalie to the far post. Good times in the corporate suite, although didn't get to hang with all the people I wanted to. Spent the third period in the club schmoozing with some VP's from the Blues. They seem to be happy with ticket sales and fan enthusiasm so far this year. If the crowd last night was any indication they should have a good year financially. To nearly sell out an early season game against the largely unknown and non-descript Wild is an accomplishment. Who is the Wild's best player? Havlat? Belanger? Friday nights are good nights for hockey. How about some more Friday night dates on the schedule? Bud Lights @ $8 per, not so much of an accomodation.
